• on the spine: Gilt Lettering and Calla Lilies in Six Compartments
• on the inside covers: Wide Gilt-Decorated Leather Turn-ins over Marbled Endpapers
• textblock top edge gilt
• frontispiece with tissue-guard
• music and lyrics illustrated with copious Dalziel engravings
