A very small number (around 150) of this edition were printed for Freemantle in 1900 before production ceased and changed hands to another publisher, which issued a revised version with a different set of color plates and expurgated text in 1907 and 1909.
This Lippincott edition is the scarce American issue of the British Freemantle edition with full text and original Rackham drawings. It appears to be the First American edition though it bears no edition statement.
I have this book, different cover, same illustrations. Not for sale. Seeking it's value. Can you help me?
